NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT

The Hammond Housing Authority will receive public comments from August 19, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. until October 3, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. regarding upcoming Administrative Plan updates. Documents outlining the changes are available in our office. Comments may be submitted in writing at 3010 Old Baton Rouge Highway Hammond, LA 70403 during normal business hours.

The office at 3010 Old Baton Rouge Highway will be closing for renovations on June 1, 2023. Appointments will be available upon request. Appointments can be made by calling/texting 985-345-2713 or emailing office@hammondha.org. A dropbox is available for your convenience at 1210 Phoenix Square Hammond, LA 70403.

The HAMMOND HOUSING AUTHORITY will be accepting online applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list. The waiting list will open on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. and it will close on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. To apply please go to www.hammondha.org, select the online application, then click apply next to the Section 8 2022 waiting list. All required fields must be completed.  Persons with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodation requests must be received no later than Friday, July 29, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.
